Violation: Walk in cooler defrosted with food left in. After defrosting the cooler, Narconon continued to use the spoiled food. Violation was corrected.

Although multiple issues were corrected, problems remained.
Violations: Raw animal and other foods improperly stored, kitchen equipment not properly sanitized or stored, ice machine not properly air gapped before entering floor drain for back-flow prevention, person in charge not maintaining compliance, potentially hazardous food kept past dates, poor kitchen sanitation, including a lack of soap and towels. Every sink in the kitchen had a leaking drain with a bucket collecting water underneath and windows were open without screens.
Violation: Infestation of bedbugs
This 70-year old complainant was rushed and kept distracted while signing papers late at night. She found that, despite being told there was no connection to scientology, that the program did indeed consist of scientology exercises, that the staff was medically unqualified in drug rehab, and that the sauna and vitamin portion of the program had been misrepresented to her. In addition, the length of stay which would allow her to get a refund were misrepresented until after the period of time had passed. She asked the Michigan Attorney General to help her get a partial refund.
